The Splendor of Autumn

Oh, a chill in the breeze and the suns farther away. The leaves of trees changing colors in so many different ways. It brings back memories of childhood I can't and won't for get. Yes, and of a dog named: Hoppy who became our pet. Yes, and picking the leaves and brought them into school, for the kids to admire and the teacher that's the rule. We'd paste them on walls and on the windows too. They brought joy to my life all the Years through. We'd sit around a campfire and sing. Yes, and the footballs games were excitingthe balls they could fling. Yes, and tearing down the goal post if you won. Then getting up not hurt with wood when you're done.Oh, the apples on a stick was famous back then. I ate alot way back when, I remember not having money and my friend's neighbor bought mine. The next time my mother bought her daughter one at another time. Now, I look up to God and say Thank you for, The Splendor of Autumn a Beautiful Time of Year. Yes, for sharing life with all in it and really giving care. It reminds me of life and how I am here. I'm in the Autumn of my life, leaves of hair are changing colors yes like others out there. One has to learn to grow and just deal with all of life. Keep your heart up lifted and don't fear the new. God knows what you can handle and believe it, it's true. So this is the Splendor of Autumn through a mind of a simple soul. Yes, and keeping these thoughts of Autumn will never make me feel old.By Marsha
